I currently serve as Train Leader for Kenosha’s Lutheran Pioneers Program
I currently server as a member on St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kenosha Church Council.
I currently server as Vice President on the OAYSIS Youth Center Board.
I currently server as St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kenosha representative on the OAYSIS Youth Center Board.
I currently server as an Executive Board member of SLATE (Supporting learning and Technology in Education).
I currently serve as the specialist representative on the Alternative Instruction committee and the Professional Growth Commission.I currently Chair the Charter Committee for the specialist senate at the College of Lake County.
I was involved with the Boy Scouts of America program for more than 15 years. I served as Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 533 in Kenosha. I also serve as Cub Master for Cub Scout Pack 533, have been elected in the Order of the Arrow (An Honor Society of Scouts) by my peers.
I have served as the a Specialist Representative on the Distance Learning Committee and Faculty Development Advisory Committee at the College of Lake County.
I have served on the AQIP Removing Barrier to online education Project.
I have served as Chair and Vice-Chair of the specialist senate at the College of Lake County. As a result I serve on the College Governance Council, AQIP Leadership team, and the Senate’s Salary and Benefits Committee. I also served on The AQIP Governance Project Committee. I have served as a Specialist Representative to the Professional Development Commission and Food Service Committee at the College of Lake County.
I have served on the Technology Committee and as a co-chair on the properties committee at my church.
I have been involved with the Boy Scouts of America’s Cub Scouts program. I have served as Den Leader, Webelos’ Den Leader, Assistant Webelos’ Den leader, Cub-master, Assistant Cub-master, Popcorn Chairman, Recharter Chairman, Advancement Chairman. Assistant Scout Master and Scout Master.
I have been involved with the New Hartford Chapter of the Iowa Jaycees, holding the offices of Chapter President and Chapter Chairman of the Board. I was involved with a number of projects. Fundraising operations included operating weekly bingo games and pancake breakfasts. Service projects included an annual Run, Punt, and Pass completion; an annual Hunted House; co-sponsor of an annual snowmobile poker run to raise money for the High School Athletic department; an annual kid’s Bike Safety Rodeo; and contributions to town improvement projects such as park playground equipment and a little league baseball field.
While in college I was actively involved with a number of academic organizations on campus. I was a member of the Biology club and competed on their quiz bowl team. I was a member and officer of the Psychology club.
